Who We Are
We are a Christian (Protestant) Evangelical church. "Christian" means we believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the only Savior of one's soul; "Protestant" means that our confession begins with the Reformation. The main motto of the Reformation - "back to the Bible" - means back from human traditions and religious fables to the written revelation of God. We believe that the Bible is primary to everything else in one's life. All the rest is secondary to it. The Bible is the main guide in the life of a believer, for only the Bible can transform his/her life and fill it with light and purpose. "Evangelical" means that at the cornerstone is the Good News (Evangelion in Greek) of the salvation of one's soul. The salvation of the soul is graceful for it is a gift from God. The only condition required is faith: “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household" (The Acts of the Apostles, chapter 16, verse 31).
